Good News! Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Slashed, New Rates Effective Today

National News: There is good news for the people. Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders. This time the price of a 19 kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs 51.

New price and date

The price of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder remains the same. Earlier its price was Rs 1631.50. This new price has come into effect from 1 September 2025. Note that this reduction is only for commercial cylinders. There is no change in the price of a domestic 14.2 kg cylinder.

Continuous reduction this year

The price of 19 kg commercial cylinders has been reduced several times since January 2025.

• Cut off Rs 14.50 in January
• Rs 7 less in February
• Rs 6 increase in March
• Rs 41 less in April
• Rs 14 less in May
• Rs 24 less in June
• Big cut of Rs 58.50 in July
• Rs 33.50 less in August
• Now after another cut in September, the price has become Rs 1580.

Impact on commercial cylinders only

This change is only for 19 kg commercial cylinders. There has been no change in the prices of domestic cylinders.

Relief for businesses

This reduction will benefit restaurants, hotels, and catering industries as they use commercial cylinders. The reduction in price will provide some relief in their expenses.
